We're gearing up for the start to the 2023-24 school year. The school office has been open since August 21st and teachers are in and out of the building getting their classrooms ready. On September 5th, teachers and EAs will be in the building attending start-of-year meetings and preparing for students.
September 6th from 11:00 - 6:00 is Smooth Start. Please make sure that you get registered for a Smooth Start conference! At Centennial, Smooth Start Conferences give teachers the opportunity to meet with each child and their parent before beginning regular classes. Conferences will be 15 minutes in length. The focus will be on the sharing of information regarding students’ needs, programming, and general classroom routines. These meetings have proven to be beneficial on many levels as they reduce back-to-school anxiety for all and provide an immediate connection between home and school.
