It's that time of year! On the heels of our successful Spring Concert last year, Centennial School is pleased to be able to bring you live Winter Concerts this year! The students have been rehearsing since almost the start of the school year and they are currently practicing over most breaks, in all Music classes, and sometimes in their classrooms. They are nervously looking forward to performing for you at the end of December.
Information went home separately and in the December newsletter. The important information, though, is that the concerts will be held in our school gym. The Spring Concert taught us that parking will be challenging and that the gym will be packed with spectators. It will be important that, if younger children are attending a show, they be able to sit quietly through the entire performance.
The grades 3 - 6 students will be performing on Wednesday, December 20th at 2:00 and 6:00. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtimes and the performance is expected to be about 40 minutes in length.
The grades K - 2 students will be performing on Thursday, December 21st at 2:00 only. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime and the showcase is expected to be about 20 minutes long.
We're looking forward to our first live Winter Concert in several years and hope you're looking forward to it, too!
